Our Works
A Body of Work
Since the very first day of establishment of the foundation, we have created lots of artistic pieces in various fields like theater, dance, performance art, multimedia, and interdisciplinarity. All of the above-mentioned pieces were created as a result of research and collaboration according to the idea of contemporary art. They portray the process of development of our creativity and our passion for performing arts. Some of our works are provided below.
complaint
The piece that was created in 2026 is named Complaint, and it is a new step in the development of our artistic practice within the framework of the foundation. It is specifically designed for an Internet audience, and this piece studies the possibility of making some connections in the sphere of performance art without going to traditional theaters. Such a union of modern performance and the Internet helps us demonstrate our commitment to experiments in art.
Another form of material which has been created during the process of this project is an art book along with certain other forms of materials, as a result of collaboration between this artistic group. The themes dealt with in this project include institutional structure, physicality, and individual-institution relationship in society.
"Complaint" is a significant step in the development of the Foundation’s work. "Complaint" marks the start of a new digital dimension where, although presence is of key importance, it is asked what happens with "presence," as it occurs through a screen rather than in real life.
All My Dead Sweethearts
“All My Dead Sweethearts – Lamentation Performance Pieces Series” is the work that stands out the most among those produced by the organization. It was performed at the Santarcangelo Festival in Italy in 2024, which is one of the most prestigious performance art festivals in Europe, and then it transferred to Centrum Kultury Zamek in Poznan.
This piece is made up of a number of elegies that express themes of separation, sadness, and love that continue even after death through physical performance and deep emotional content. The physical training and artistic collaboration of this group give this piece its distinctiveness, thus making it both emotionally and artistically rich.
All members of the Nostalgic Boys art group join this performance, and in the course of development of this performance, much time was devoted to conducting an artistic research and discussing. It is a collective creation and it is evidence of the artistic concept of the entire group and its dedication to modern performance art. The images used in the process of developing this performance were taken by M. Kaczynski.

Your Tears Are Mine
"Your Tears Are Mine" is an art book created by the foundation in 2024, accompanying and extending the performance work of the ensemble. The book is a visual and textual investigation into the themes of the foundation's recent productions — grief, lamentation, the body, and the persistence of feeling.
This art book that accompanies the performance must be treated as an individual work of art and not merely as the documentation of the ideas illustrated during the performance. The art book comprises photographs, personal experiences and visual imagery, all of which create a totally different kind of experience for the reader. This art book, while having a strong connection to the performance, remains an individual work of art.
This book is how we preserve the magic of being live. Not only is it a document of our performances but it is also art in its own right, holding the true magic and emotion of what we do in a completely new way.
The Rite of Spring for Desmodium and Mimosa Pudica
One of our proudest projects is 'The Rite of Spring for Desmodium and Mimosa Pudica'. Premiered in Warsaw in 2021, this piece uses Stravinsky’s iconic music to deeply explore our relationship with nature and the environmental challenges we face today.
Just like Desmodium and Mimosa Pudica fold, shift, and bend the second they are touched, our own bodies react to the world around us. This piece uses these sensitive plants as a beautiful reminder of what it means to be human: our simple, quiet capacity to feel, to be moved, and to be deeply changed by the connections we make.
Captured in wonderful photographs by Pawel Kuligowski, the work represents an important leap for us in our quest to understand the relationship between live performance and ecology.
VHS / Visual Homemade Stories
Created and presented between Warsaw and Krakow in 2020, ‘VHS/ Visual Homemade Stories’ employs the VHS tape, which used to be the most intimate form of recording for us, to go beyond exploring the meanings of memory, home, and personal narratives we leave behind.
It is all about the relationship between what is photographed and what is done; between the past as captured on film and the future which is always slipping away. It is the tale of nostalgia in its most basic form, of the desire to go home but being unable to do so.
This project is an illustration of our rising interest in the relationship between live performances and other mediums, a theme that has run consistently through our work online, particularly through the 'complaints' projects that we have developed online since 2026.
The Manatee: An Underwater Romance
In an exhibition held in Warsaw in 2019, The Manatee: An Underwater Romance utilizes the serene nature of the manatee to symbolize the perfect symbol of gentleness, a love that is sweet and gentle but sometimes seems out of place in today’s world.
The story revolves around romance in its oldest and purest form – a story of passionate yearning and unrequited love that is coupled with the dream of a better world. But in reality, on another plane of consciousness, it is also an intensely physical story – the story of the body – of floating and the stillness of being submerged in water.
This play that was taken by PatMic was very significant in the development of our foundation because it set the foundation for our creativity philosophy that would inform all our future work.
Solaris
The performance "Solaris" was first performed in Warsaw in 2019. This performance is inspired by a well-known science fiction novel by Stanislaw Lem, as well as by the film version of this novel by Andrei Tarkovsky. In the novel by Lem, the Ocean of Solaris creates physical manifestations of the most cherished and secret wishes and memories of astronauts. The body of the actor is an embodiment of the Ocean.
The piece invites us to wonder: what deep memories do our bodies hold? What do they secretly desire? And what happens when those urges take over, growing into something far bigger than we can handle? 'Solaris' is an exploration of the uncanny—capturing the eerie feeling of finding strangeness in what we already know, and a strange comfort in what we don't.
When shown together with 'The Manatee' in 2019, the combination of both pieces created an amazing diptych which fully embodied the individual artistic style of our institution from day one.
Online & Interdisciplinary Work
In addition to our main stage productions, the foundation has developed a range of online and interdisciplinary projects that extend our artistic practice into new contexts and new media.
Online Projects
Recently, we have been quite occupied in creating digital projects that allow us to discover new forms of performances through the Internet. Ranging from live streams to interactive work created especially for the Internet, we continue experimenting, most recently through our online project titled 'complaint' of 2026.
Art Books & Publications
The type of publication produced by us are art books for our performance arts. One of the most recent publications "Your Tears Are Mine" published in 2024 is a case in point.
KPO Projects
We take pride in our contribution to some of the vital projects within the ambit of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (KPO) where we have made a significant contribution in creating resilient cultural spaces for promoting creative arts in Poland. Such projects mean much more to us beyond just being projects because it is an expression of our commitment to the development of performing arts sector.
