About Us
Who Are the Nostalgic Boys?
Fundacja Sztuk Performatywnych "Nostalgic Boys" is a non-profit organization founded in Warsaw and committed to the development of contemporary performing arts. This organization is engaged in creating, producing, and promoting new pieces of art in theater, dance, performance art, and other interdisciplinary fields of art. It stimulates creativity through cooperation with artists, cultural organizations, and local communities. dance, performance art and interdisciplinary projects. We work in Poland and internationally, collaborating with cultural institutions, festivals and independent artists.
The name represents our individuality as individuals and artists. The art that we create is motivated by our experiences, our histories, and the memories that we hold inside us. Our history gives richness to our artistic voice. On the other hand, it is our courage and imagination that inspire us to create and explore new dimensions of art. This is where memory meets courageous imagination that gives our artistic practice its true meaning.
Born From Artistic Necessity
The foundation was established with the objective of giving concrete structure to the vision that the artists had been propagating through their collaboration. The foundation has been incorporated in Warsaw and holds the KRS 0000895416 registration number. It has been established as a cultural foundation operating on a non-profit basis in line with the Polish legal framework. Our primary objective as the foundation is to create, promote, and develop the performing arts.
The body is the primary focus in creating our artworks. We believe that there is no better medium through which we can express our emotions and ideas than the body that breathes, lives, and moves. It is the foundation of all our works that may be performed on the Warsaw theatre stage, during an international event in Italy, or even our own unique artworks in cyberspace. The fundamental principle of our activities is the creation of some work that will have a great impact on humans.
These works have been presented in cultural centers and festivals both in Poland and abroad at locations such as the CK Zamek Cultural Center in Poznań, the Santarcangelo Festival in Italy, and different cultural centers in Warsaw and Kraków. Our projects always begin from a question and not an answer. Through our artistic work, we explore problems of loss, memory, ecology, desire, and the social institutions and processes which dictate how we live, interact, and see the world.

Poland and Beyond
Warsaw
Home to the city we live in and to our organization. It is here that we practice, perform and create art; a city with a complicated past. The address of the organization is Grochowska 319/12, 03-823 Warszawa.
Poznan — CK Zamek
One such partner institution of the foundation is CK Zamek in Poznań, who has served as an esteemed partner of ours in this regard by offering us a platform for our artistry. One of our renowned performances, All My Dead Sweethearts, premiered in 2024 in this very theater, which is one of the top cultural destinations of Poland.
Santarcangelo, Italy
Our participation at the Santarcangelo Festival in 2024 will be a very significant milestone in the growth of our institution on the international stage. This is due to the fact that the Santarcangelo Festival is recognized as one of the most influential festivals of contemporary performance arts in Europe.
Krakow
We have been performing in Krakow since we have always been very keen on performing in various parts of Poland. It is one of the cities in Poland where there is vibrant culture and a receptive audience.
Online Space
By organizing an exhibition under the title Complaint (2026), we aim to expand our artistic work beyond physical exhibitions and into the realm of the Internet. It is not sufficient to simply utilize the Internet as a means to share our art; rather, we wish to explore the Internet as an artistic space in and of itself, giving us new opportunities for performance.
Future Horizons
We are still building our networks around the world and looking for collaborations in film festivals and other cultural institutions spread all over Europe. If you want to work with us, feel free to contact us at any time.
Work With the Foundation
We welcome collaborations, partnerships and conversations with artists, institutions and supporters who share our commitment to original, ambitious performing arts.
